Joe Porrino

After twenty-one years of practicing law and seven years as the chief operating officer of a major university in New York City, Joseph Porrino has been providing consulting services to senior executives in higher education and other not-for profit and for-profit organizations and helping them to manage their businesses more effectively.

 

For the past thirteen years, Mr. Porrino has been advising Direct Source Healthcare in it’s business of the recruitment of registered nurses from the Philippines and other countries for placement at healthcare facilities in the United States.  His primary role is in the area of business development and governmental affairs.

 

From 1970 to 1991, Mr. Porrino was a labor and employment lawyer at Putney, Twombly, Hall & Hirson in New York City.  Representing the interests of management exclusively, Mr. Porrino had an extensive practice in higher education and healthcare.

 

Mr. Porrino received his B.A. from Bowdoin College and his J.D. from the Fordham University School of Law.
