Compensation

Base Salary - Direct Source HealthCare offers highly competitive salaries at or above the prevailing market wage for the geographic area where you will work.  We base salary offers on your individual skills and experience.

401(k) Plan - The Company offers employees an opportunity to participate in the 401(k) Retirement Savings Program upon completing three months of service.  Employees can contribute from 1% to 18% of their compensation to their retirement savings program up to the annual limit permitted by the Federal Government.  Employees can choose from a wide variety of investments managed by the plan administrator, Salomon Smith Barney, Inc.

Paid Holidays - Direct Source HealthCare offers eight paid holidays per calendar year.  Employees on assignment observe the holiday schedule of their respective healthcare facility.

Paid Time Off - Direct Source HealthCare employees are eligible for paid time off to be used for vacations, illness, or personal leave.  Each January 1st, employees are allocated 20 days of paid time off to be used throughout the calendar year.  During the first year of employment, paid time off is pro-rated based on the percentage of days remaining in the calendar year from the start of employment.

Sponsorship - Direct Source HealthCare employers pay all expenses for H1-B Visa sponsorship, H1-B Visa renewals, and Green Cards.

Health Benefits

Medical Insurance - Direct Source HealthCare employees are offered a comprehensive Medical Plan (including Prescription Plan) with Blue Cross Blue Shield under the "Horizon Direct Access" Plan. This coverage takes effect from the first day of employment and is provided to every employee who chooses to enroll. 70% of the cost of coverage is company paid and 30% is contributed by the employee. Dental Insurance - Direct Source HealthCare offers all employees dental insurance coverage through the CIGNA Dental HMO (DHMO) at no cost. Additionally, employees also have the option to participate in the CIGNA "Preferred Provider Organization" (PPO) on a voluntary basis with premium payments processed through payroll deduction on a pre-tax basis. Insurance

Life InsuranceGroup Term Life Insurance coverage is offered to all full-time employees. The benefit pays 1 times the employee's salary, up to a maximum of $50,000. This program is sponsored by the company at no cost to the employees. Coverage takes effect the first day of employment. In addition, optional Supplementary Life Insurance is available on a contributory basis; monthly premiums are paid through payroll deduction. Short-term Disability InsuranceAll employees are covered by Short-term Disability Insurance through Unum/Provident Insurance Company (Employees of California and Rhode Island are covered under Statutory State Plans). This benefit is funded by the Company and covers all employees upon employment.  Short-term Disability Insurance is designed to provide income for employees when absent from work for more than 7 calendar days due to non-occupational illness, injury or pregnancy-related disability. The short-term disability benefits are calculated at 66 2/3 percent of salary, up to a weekly maximum (indexed annually), for a duration of up to 26 weeks. Benefits are payable after 7 days of disability, however, the elimination period of 7 days is compensable if benefits are payable for three consecutive weeks.

Long-term Disability Insurance - The Company offers Long-term Disability Insurance through the UNUM/ Provident Insurance Company. This program is offered, on a voluntary basis, to all employees working a minimum of 30 hours per week.  This Plan replaces lost income due to a disabling illness or injury, after 180 days of disability (even partial disabilities). Participants will have the ability to pay the premium through payroll deduction on an after-tax basis, which will result in a tax-free benefit.
