In December 2007, one of our staff from the Philippines, Jumbo Cortez, traveled to the U.S. and successfully completed the course to become an American Heart Association BLS Certified Instructor. On April 16, 2008, our 1st AHA BLS certification course was conducted in the Philippines by Jumbo. Pictured are the newly certified attendees with him. Congratulations to Jumbo and his successful students. Jumbo will be holding many more sessions in the future. We want as many of our candidates as possible to have this certification in hand before they enter the U.S. to begin their new careers.
