RN Advisory #17

07/22/2005

The U.S. Embassy in Manila finally came to life this week.  We received 25 notices of Embassy Appointments for the month of August 2005.  The U.S. Embassies in the Middle East have been slow to do their scheduling; only 1 RN so far in Kuwait has been notified of an appointment date in August.  We don’t know what they are waiting for.  Our Immigration Attorney sent individual emails on each and every case to the other Embassies (Kuwait, Riyadh and Singapore) to urge them to schedule the appointments.

Those RNs without appointments yet, don’t despair.  More notices could arrive next week.  By the way, the notices we are receiving are for individuals whose visa petitions were filed in 2004, for the most part, so the Embassy really has picked up the pace.

Below are excerpts of emails received from RNs who did get Embassy Interview notices.  You may detect the happiness and relief they are feeling.  Keep the faith.

“Thank you so much. I am sooooooooo relieved ! I could not make it without all your support there; you treat us like your friends and family.”
